engaging classes with the professor explaining some content learned previously in the video lectures, and solving a quiz together. she explains every step of each exercise of the quizzes very clearly. regarding the final exam that counts 80% of the final grade, the most important thing is to practice the mock exams that the professor provides. also as they have the same structure, what helped me guide during the exam was my excel with formulas and other important information.

Having taken more than one statistics course during my bachelor’s, I didn’t learn much new content. Nevertheless, applying the concepts to real data in Excel made the course enjoyable. The professor is very attentive and makes an effort to keep the classes engaging. Expect it to be fast-passed.

Did not learn anything new, and for me, personally, the classes were kind of boring, but very easy to catch up with and super easy to get good grades (got my only 20).

Good professor in general, but she does not explain clearly how to calculate they things you need to answer. While it’s not the hardest course (you can Get a good grade with practicing quite a bit), still, the questions under the exam are made to be ambiguous, which to me feels like a way to lower the grade average in a «lazy» way.

I think this is the easiest course I have ever been to. If u have any statistic fundamentals u can easily nail it

The asynchronous and regular classes model works very well, the asynchronous classes are focused on teaching the course's material while on person classes focus on solving summative quizzes. Most of the course's grade comes from the final exam, which is multiple choices, with an open book, there are a lot of questions so good time management while solving is crucial

I really enjoyed this course, especially thanks to Professor Ana Paula Amaro. She explains everything very clearly, and her classes are extremely well structured. She’s also incredibly approachable and always available to answer questions after class. You can tell she genuinely cares about making sure everyone is keeping up, which makes us feel very supported throughout the semester. Each class is divided into two parts: in the first part, the professor explains new concepts, and in the second, we solve a quiz together. Between classes, we have one week to watch short video lessons on new...
