I really liked this course but is one of the most challenging i have faced. There are a lot of exercises and each one takes a lot of time to solve but with practice it becomes easier. For someone who likes financial accounting this course will be fun, for those who had problems with it, it will be challenging. The exam is hard and is one of the only courses that i felt that the exam matched the level of difficulty of the handbook (usually the handbooks are harder than the exam, in my opinion)

You can achieve a great grade if you keep up with the course content throughout the semester. I believe the practical classes are more than enough, as you will mainly work through workbook exercises with your TAs. The midterms consist only of multiple-choice questions, while the final exam is written on paper and does not include multiple choice. For the final exam, my main tip is to practice exams from previous years and to do them under timed conditions, as time management is crucial—I personally felt quite rushed trying to finish everything during the exam.

The teacher assistants explain quite well the exercises. The midterms are a mix of multiple choices and on paper answers and they are extensive. It is a lot of material to read so try to make sure you understand the basis.

Unpopular opinion: I really liked this course!! The theoretical classes are really not necessary to have a very great grade. My TA was really good, and I think their powerpoints and explanations are enough, for the ones that like the course material. Tip- go to the practical classes and if necessary book office hours.

You need to do a lot of exercises in order to keep up with the speed of the course. It’s a lot of content but practice makes it easier.
